Goal by Fozia Hammad - Pakistani Fashion Extravaganza 2009

Goal by Fozia Hammad had a collection of golden and silvery toned evening dresses on show at the Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza

I have to say I prefered the gold/cream coloured outfits to the silver/greys. I think the embroidery works really well in the outfits below, and she has created some unusual necklines which look really elegant

Most of the designers showed what looks like it could be a bridal outfit for their last outfit of the runway, and although the type of outfit doesn't really fit with the parade of dresses shown before, it still fits in with the whole look of the collection...you could almost imagine a bride wearing this outfit and her bridesmaids in one of the dresses from above

Khaamta by Ghazala Saifi at the Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza

Laaleeyan was the only UK based designer to show their collection at the Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza.Their show was full of casual and understated party outfits, some of them had a bit of an Arabic-style feel to them, particularly this first green outfit with what looks like a belly-dancer belt as part of the top.
The outfit did improve a bit towards the end in my opinion, including the final bridal piece. Although none of these outfits really shouted out as something amazing that I'd really want to go and buy!
What is with the fitting of this next outfit? Is it intentional? Because it looks really bad to me!

Nickie Nina close the show at the Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza

Some of the designers kept it casual for their collections, but Nickie Nina had glamour and elegance right from the very start! They started with this long purple and pink dress, which I think looks beautiful on the very tall thin model, but perhaps may not look as fabulous on us real women!
There were more jackets on show and some interesting colour combinations. I like how they fuse the different colours together in the outfit to create something that has a lot of colours but doesn’t look completely ridiculous and like a mis-matched rainbow outfit!
A similar style of outfit was this cream/white/gold and blue outfit which again I think looks really beautiful in these pictures, but I’m not sure how this long dress/jacket style of outfit would look on other body shapes.
Colours aside, I’m not really loving the long-dress outfits like the one below. Maybe it’s just the angle of the photos but I think they look a bit weird being that length with the style of trousers they’ve been paired with.
Their final outfit and bridal look was this green lehnga.
